Admission requirements for the 2nd round
Entrance examination

If the candidate does not make use of any of the recognition criteria listed in the points
1-9) in the field of Business Academy,
1-10) in the field of Economics and Business,
1-8) in the field of Preschool and Extra-curricular pedagogy,
1-8) in the field of Veterinary Medicine,
then he / she has to take the school part of the entrance examination, which consists of a test of General Study Prerequisites – OSP (an example can be found here). Depending on the test result, the candidate can get up to 100 points.

Criteria for the recognition of the school part of the entrance examination

Field of study: Business Academy
1) the average school results from all subjects in the eighth and the ninth year of the elementary school did not exceed the value of 1.5 (for both the 8th and 9th grade, only the school results for the first semester are presented)
2) the average school results from all subjects in the eighth or the ninth year of the elementary school did not exceed the value of  1.4 (for both the 8th and 9th grade, only the school results for the first semester are presented)
3) the average school results from the three out of four following subjects (Czech Language and Literature, English Language, Mathematics, History) in the ninth year of the elementary school did not exceed the value of 1.2 and the total school results from all subjects in the eighth and the ninth year did not exceed the value of 1.9 (for both the 8th and 9th grade, only the school results for the first semester are presented)
4) placed first down to fifth in a regional or district round of a mathematics, chemistry, physics, geography or astronomy competition, or alternatively a competition in Czech language or an equivalent competition announced by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports or by schools (such as the Maths Kangaroo, IT Merit Badge)
5) passing a certified English, German or Spanish language examination at Level A2 and higher (e.g. KET, PET, FIN in DEUTSCH 2, FLYERS)
6) based on the current and documented membership in Mensa Czech Republic (IQ value is greater than or equal to 130)
7) placed in the top 30% of a logic competition organized by Mensa Czech Republic in a regional round at least once in the course of studies at the elementary school
8) based on the decision made by the headmistress of PRIGO High School by exercising discretion in the recognition of type-equivalent or similar achievements listed in Points 4) and 5), worthy of special consideration

Field of study: Economy and Business

1) the average school results from all subjects in the eighth and the ninth year of the elementary school did not exceed the value of 1.6 (for both the 8th and 9th grade, only the school results for the first semester are presented)
2) the average school results from all subjects in the eighth or the ninth year of the elementary school did not exceed the value of  1.5 (for both the 8th and 9th grade, only the school results for the first semester are presented)
3) the average school results from the three out of four following subjects (Czech Language and Literature, English Language, Mathematics, History) in the ninth year of the elementary school did not exceed the value of 1.3 and the total school results from all subjects in the eighth and the ninth year did not exceed the value of 2.0 (for both the 8th and 9th grade, only the school results for the first semester are presented)
4) at least once represented the Czech Republic in a sport or placed between 1st – 10th place at the relevant national championship
5) placed between 1st – 5th place in the regional or district round of the mathematical, chemical, physical, geographical or astronomical Olympiad, or the Olympiad in the Czech language, or equivalent competitions announced by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports (such as Mathematical Kangaroo, Bobřík of Informatics etc.)
6) passing a certified language examination in English, German, French or Spanish at A2 level and higher (eg KET, PET, FIN in DEUTSCH 2, FLYERS)
7) based on the current and documented membership in Mensa Czech Republic (IQ value is greater than or equal to 130)
8) placed in the top 30% of a logic competition organized by Mensa Czech Republic in a regional round at least once in the course of studies at the elementary school
8) based on the decision made by the headmistress of PRIGO High School by exercising discretion in the recognition of type-equivalent or similar achievements listed in Points 4) and 5), worthy of special consideration

Field of study: Pre-School and Extra-curricular Pedagogy

1)  the average school results from all subjects in the eighth and the ninth year of the elementary school did not exceed the value of 1.5 (for both the 8th and 9th grade, only the school results for the first semester are presented)
2) the average school results from all subjects in the eighth or the ninth year of the elementary school did not exceed the value of  1.4 (for both the 8th and 9th grade, only the school results for the first semester are presented)
3) the average school results from the three out of four following subjects (Czech Language and Literature, English Language, Mathematics, History) in the ninth year of the elementary school did not exceed the value of 1.2 and the total school results from all subjects in the eighth and the ninth year did not exceed the value of 1.9 (for both the 8th and 9th grade, only the school results for the first semester are presented)
4) at least 2 years of study at Elementary School of Arts (ZUŠ), either musical or artistic field
5) based on the current and documented membership in Mensa Czech Republic (IQ value is greater than or equal to 130)
6)  placed in the top 30% of a logic competition organized by Mensa Czech Republic in a regional round at least once in the course of studies at the elementary school
7) based on the decision made by the headmistress of PRIGO High School by exercising discretion in the recognition of type-equivalent or similar achievements listed in Point 4) worthy of special consideration

Field of study: Veterinary Medicine

1) the average school results from all subjects in the eighth and the ninth year of the elementary school did not exceed the value of 1.5 (for both the 8th and 9th grade, only the school results for the first semester are presented)
2) the average school results from all subjects in the eighth or the ninth year of the elementary school did not exceed the value of  1.4 (for both the 8th and 9th grade, only the school results for the first semester are presented)
3) the average school results from the three out of four following subjects (Czech Language and Literature, English Language, Mathematics, History) in the ninth year of the elementary school did not exceed the value of 1.2 and the total school results from all subjects in the eighth and the ninth year did not exceed the value of 1.9 (for both the 8th and 9th grade, only the school results for the first semester are presented)
4) placement on the 1st – 5th place in the regional or district round of the Mathematical, Chemical, Physical or Biological Olympiad, or other competition equivalent to competitions announced by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports (such as Mathematical Kangaroo etc.)
5) based on the current and documented membership in Mensa Czech Republic (IQ value is greater than or equal to 130)
6) placed in the top 30% of a logic competition organized by Mensa Czech Republic in a regional round at least once in the course of studies at the elementary school
7) based on the decision made by the headmistress of PRIGO High School by exercising discretion in the recognition of type-equivalent or similar achievements listed in Point 4) worthy of special consideration

Prerequisites for acceptance to the field Veterinary Medicine

1) meeting the criteria of the admission procedure
2) providing of medical report proving the applicant’s medical fitness

If the candidate does not meet at least one of the criteria listed in points
1-8) in the field of Business Academy,
1-9) in the field of Economics and Business,
1-7) in the field of Preschool and Extra-curricular pedagogy,
1-7) in the field of Veterinary Medicine,

the better result out of points

9) and 10) in the field of Business Academy,
10) and 11) in the field of Economics and Business,
8) and 9) in the field of Preschool and Extra-curricular pedagogy,
8) and 9) in the field of Veterinary Medicine,

will be taken into consideration, that is either the state part or the school part of the entrance examination. For the school part of the entrance examination listed in point 10) or 11) or 9) (depending on the study field), the candidate can achieve a maximum of 100 points. The school part must be completed again for the 2nd round of the admission procedure and the school part from the 1st round of the entrance examination cannot be recognized. For the part of the uniform (state) part of the entrance examination referred to in point 9) or 10) or 8) (depending on the study field), the candidate can achieve a maximum of 100 points. The uniform entrance examination from the first round will be recognized, provided that the applicant submits, together with the application for study, the result of the evaluation of the uniform entrance examination from the first round. If the applicant meets at least one of the criteria listed in points 1-8), the obligation to take the school part of the entrance examination according to point 10) or 11) or 9) (depending on the study field), or the obligation to document the result of the state part of the entrance examination according to point 9) or 10) or 8) (depending on the study field) will be waived and the candidate will be awarded 100 points in the overall ranking of candidates.

Based on the points that the candidate receives, the order of candidates from the best to the worst will be compiled. The primary criterion for ranking candidates is the number of points achieved. If the score is the same, the average benefit according to point 1) rounded to two decimal places is used as a secondary criterion. Students who are placed in the interval from the 1st place to the place that corresponds to the order of the applicant who placed last in the order within the remaining capacity for the 2nd round of the admission procedure for the given field of study will be admitted.
