Entrance examination

The entrance examination consists of an assessment of the following parts:

1) the result of the uniform (state) entrance examination (max. 100 points)

2) the result of the school entrance examination (max. 66 points).

The uniform (state) entrance exam consists of two didactic tests from a) Czech language and literature (sample here) and b) Mathematics (ukázka zde). The maximum number of points awarded from these didactic tests is 50 points. The highest score for the entrance examination is therefore 100 points in the case of error-free answers to all questions in both tests. The school part of the entrance examination consists of a test of General Study Prerequisites – OSP (sample here). Depending on the test result, the candidate can get up to 66 points. Information about the preparatory courses for the school entrance examination can be found here.

Recognition of the school part of the examination

The entrance examination may be recognized (waived) and the candidate receives the maximum of 66 points without having to sit the General Study Prerequisites test, if the candidate meets at least one of the criteria below. In the case of an application for recognition of the school part of the entrance examination on the basis of points 4-8 below, it is a necessary condition to attach a Declaration on honour along with required attachments (can be downloaded here). The Declaration on honour is an integral part of the application.
